About me

I’ve trained in the fine sport of sleepless, caffeine-driven programming marathons. I believe that web apps should be elegant and understandable in every detail, whether it’s the user experience or the code behind it.

I’m a front-end engineer at Twitter, where I crank out HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby, and more every day. I love it. I’m also a former developer at Mint Digital, where they create some brilliant web apps. Both teams are filled with energetic and intelligent people, and are always hiring.

To give back to the developer community, I maintain a few open source projects. JSLintMate is a simple, shiny UI for running JSLint and JSHint in TextMate. AssetHat is a Rails gem that makes CSS and JS load faster. Hemlock is a JavaScript/ActionScript/XMPP framework for building real-time web apps.

The rest of my free time goes toward developing websites, watching mind-bending movies, collecting geeky shirts, remembering that time at Cornell with the all-nighters and the code and the thing, and practicing solving my Rubik’s Cube at breakneck speed.
